Alexander attended Immokalee High School in Immokalee, Florida. During his career he had 139 tackles and 10 interceptions. He was rated by ESPN as a five-star recruit and was rated as the fourth best overall player in his class. He attended the Army All American Bowl. He committed to Clemson University to play college football.
